Local TT rider Michael ‘Miggy’ Evans finished 9th in the Macau Grand Prix at the weekend.
Miggy told Energy FM that Macau itself and the race was very unique and “quite mind blowing”.
The 30 year old raced his own GSXR Suzuki 1000cc in the Superbike class - the same bike he raced at the North West 200, TT and British Superbike (BSB) rounds this year.
He was very quick to thank Reece Crellin and Graham Thomas for looking after the bike, along with Andy Grimshaw for helping with the suspension; plus everyone who has supported him on social media.
With Macau done and dusted Miggy has his sights firmly set on 2024. He has started to make his plan for the next years race season and hopes to head out to Spain early in 2024 for some pre season testing.
