Fire crews assist with RTC on Loch Promenade

Earlier today (November 20) at 11.06am appliances from Douglas fire station were called to a road traffic collision (RTC) on Loch Promenade, Douglas.

It responded to an assistance request from colleagues at the Ambulance Service that were dealing with a two vehicle road traffic collision on the prom. 

The fire service used hydraulic cutting and spreading tools to extricate one casualty allowing them to be taken to hospital for further treatment.

The vehicle was made safe and crews were in attendance for 45 minutes.
