Special service to mark Ellan Vannin tragedy

Ramsey Town Commissioners have organised a short memorial service to commemorate the 114th anniversary of the loss of the S.S. Ellan Vannin. 

This will take place at 3.30pm at the memorial plaque on West Quay, Ramsey on Sunday 3rd December.  In the event of poor weather it will take place in the Our Lady Star of the Sea & St Maughold Catholic Church on South Promenade.  The service will last around 15 minutes.

The format will be similar to previous years with an introduction from the Commissioners, the reading of the names of those who perished and prayers.
