UCM music students host Christmas Concert

Music students from University College Isle of Man (UCM) are running their annual Christmas Concert tomorrow (December 13) night at St Matthew's Church, Douglas Quay.

This year's theme is 'Now & Then' based on this term’s second year project.

The students have been visiting residents at Elder Grange Nursing Home, getting to know them and creating music in response to the experience.

They have written original songs based on the residents’ lives, some have taken a resident’s favourite song and reworked it in a new style and some students have transformed their own favourite songs that they’d like to share.

Doors will open at 7pm and all donations made will be going to the Student Hardship Fund.
