The annual New Year’s Day dip in Peel will be supporting three local charities; Peel Royal Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), Manx Breast Cancer Support Group and MS Society IOM.
The costume competition that is sponsored by the Steam Packet Company will be Maritime themed.
The Company will be providing prizes to the best dressed in the Individual, Group and Child’s categories.
Chairman of Peel RNLI and organiser of the Peel New Year’s dip Stuart Blackley said: “The RNLI is a big part of Island life and touches a lot of people across the Isle of Man. We are very grateful to sponsors such as the Steam Packet Company, who help us continue our lifeboat operations.
“The Peel New Year’s Day Dip has been raising funds for the Lifeboat and other charities for more than 40 years. This year's sponsorship from Steam Packet Company will ensure that the event continues to be a fun and exciting experience for all attendees.”
