Southern Swimming Pool closed following safety concerns

Following an EGM the Board of the Southern Swimming Pool have made the decision to close the facility.

The board was made aware of concerns with the Pool Hall lighting and ultimately made a decision that the pool would close from today (December 14).

The pool will reopen when external consultants have satisfied the Pool Board that there is no risk to the public.
