Port St Mary RNLI fund raisers receive awards

A husband and wife team have recently been awarded official recognition for their stalwart fundraising activities over the last 40 years.

John and Marion Payne, have been presented long service medals at Port St Mary Lifeboat House.

Over the years John has held the position of Treasurer and Membership Secretary of the Branch.

John and Marion are familiar figures attending any Lifeboat Function and when away on holiday in their motorhome they have visited well over 150 lifeboat stations around the coast of the British Isles.
