Work to rebrand Shoprite stores to Tesco to begin within weeks

Work on re-branding two Shoprite stores to Tesco will begin in the New Year.

Stores in Douglas and Castletown will cease trading on Saturday 6th January.

Tesco says each store will be refitted and store layouts changed.

The supermarket giant will convert nine former Shoprite stores into Tesco Superstores and four Tesco Express convenience stores over the next twelve months.
