Local charity to benefit from Southern New Year Dips

A charity that helps people suffering from allergies will benefit from a traditional Manx event on New Year's Day.

The Southern New Year Dips have been taking place for the last 20 years and raised over £70,000 for a variety of charities.

Funds raised from the 2024 dips will go towards supporting the work of Anaphylaxis UK in the Isle of Man.

The first dip takes place at 10.00am at Chapel Bay, Port St Mary, followed by the Inner Harbour, Port St Mary at 10.45am and then 11.30am in Gansey Bay. The series of dips ends at 12.15pm in Port Erin Bay.
